Ryan Mitchell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine, research, and instruction. Currently serving as an Affiliate Researcher at Tufts University, Ryan focuses on performance under stress. Over two decades of service at the City of Pinellas Park have included roles as Lieutenant of Rescue and firefighting paramedic, where Ryan oversees paramedic clinical practices and manages high-acuity medical responses. As an instructor with DISASTER MEDICAL SOLUTIONS LLC and Element Rescue, Ryan teaches advanced medical and rescue techniques while contributing as a consultant to critical incident reports. Additionally, Ryan is engaged in creative endeavors, co-founding Eat.Speak.St.Pete, producing music with The New Math, and maintaining a photography practice that captures diverse human experiences. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Extreme Medicine from Northeastern University and a BA in Anthropology from the University of South Florida.
