Rita Ali serves as the Mayor of Peoria, Illinois, since May 2021, and holds a long-standing position as the Vice President of Workforce, Diversity, and Career Development at Illinois Central College, beginning in October 2004. Rita Ali has also held various roles at the college including Vice President and Vice President of Diversity and Community Impact. Rita Ali holds a Master's degree in Education Administration from Bradley University, a PhD in Organizational Management from Capella University, a Bachelor's degree in Human Services Management from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from Walden University.
