Mark W. Scandalis has extensive experience in water quality management and laboratory operations, currently serving as the Airport Manager and Laboratory Supervisor for the City of Paso Robles since September 2014. In this role, Mark leads the Water Quality Laboratory, focusing on NPDES permit compliance monitoring and optimizing wastewater treatment processes, including UV disinfection and recycled water production. Previously, Mark held positions as Laboratory Technician II at the City of San Clemente, where routine testing ensured adherence to environmental regulations, and as a Microbiology Lab Technician at FGL Environmental. Mark also worked as a Laboratory Analyst I for the City of San Luis Obispo. Mark earned a degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
