Jeff Legato, GISP, serves as a GIS Analyst at the City of Paso Robles since June 2019. With extensive experience in geographic information systems, Legato previously held the position of Geographic Information Systems Specialist III for the County of San Luis Obispo from October 2006 to June 2019, where responsibilities included managing the County Planning Department GIS and implementing a county-wide enterprise GIS. As Steering Committee Chair at Action for Healthy Communities from May 2012 to July 2019, Legato provided expertise in support of community health goals. Additionally, Legato has lectured on Planning Information Systems at California Polytechnic State University, contributing to the education of future planning professionals. The educational background includes a BS in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an AA in Liberal Studies/Architecture from Diablo Valley College.
