Merrill Olinger is an experienced accountant currently serving as the Accountant for the City of Pacific Grove since June 2011, responsible for monitoring cash accounts and ensuring accurate transaction recording. Olinger previously held the position of President at the Gold Coast Australian Cattle Dog Club from 2006 to December 2016, and worked as the Accounting/Office Manager at Abramson Church & Stave, LLP from April 2007 to November 2009, managing all accounting functions and financial reporting. Prior roles include Cost Accounting Manager at Castelle (1999-2006), Staff Accountant at Western Communications (1989-1992), and Staff Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand (1986-1989). Merrill Olinger holds a BS in Accounting from San Francisco State University and a BA in Liberal Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education from California State University, Stanislaus.
