Angella McCoy currently serves as a Security Compliance Analyst for the City of Ocala, a position held since October 2019. Prior to this role, Angella worked at Marion County Public Schools from November 2008 to October 2019, first as a Computer Programmer, where responsibilities included managing access implementation projects for K-12 vendor platforms, querying data from Student Information Systems, and managing user privileges for various applications. Angella’s earlier experience includes serving as a Computer Network Specialist, focusing on cloud computing system administration, user account management, and creating training materials. Angella holds a Master's degree in Digital Forensics from the University of Central Florida, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Management with a specialization in Management of Information Systems from the College of Central Florida, and an Associate of Arts in Computer Science from the same institution.
