Rebecca Dean is an experienced professional in the fields of social work and community advocacy, currently serving as the Health Promotions Program Coordinator at CARECEN SF since June 2019, where responsibilities include coordinating training and workshops for promotoras de salud. Previously held roles include Senior Case Manager and Family Wellness Case Manager, focusing on language access protections and resource connection for immigrant families. As a Policy Advocate with Indivisible Project, Rebecca tracks and advocates for progressive legislation in California. Additional experiences include participation in the Women in Leadership program at Coro Northern California and engagement as a campaign volunteer for a Democratic State Assembly candidate. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Social Work and a Certificate in Political Social Work from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelor's Degree from Hope College.
