Leigh Hanson is an experienced leader in public administration and nonprofit management, currently serving as Chief of Staff for the City of Oakland since January 2023. Prior roles include Interim Chief Development Officer and Senior Director of Institutional Partnerships at GLIDEsf, where efforts focused on creating transformational change in underserved communities. Leigh held positions in strategic partnerships with FUSE Corps and provided advisory support for impactful projects at The Heinz Endowments and the City of Pittsburgh. Additional experience includes significant contributions as a Board Member for the Environmental Charter School and various roles within The Pittsburgh Foundation. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College.
