Kimberly Marrone, EDFP, AICP, is the Economic Development and Planning Director for the City of Oak Park since June 2014, where responsibilities include economic development, brownfield and corridor improvement authorities, marketing, and planning and zoning initiatives. Prior to this role, Kimberly served as the Executive Director of the Imlay City DDA from February 2011 to June 2014, focusing on economic gardening, community promotions, and downtown infrastructure improvements. Kimberly held various leadership positions within the Michigan Economic Development Association from 2012 to 2021, including board vice president and president. Additionally, Kimberly was the Executive Director of the Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce from October 2009 to February 2011. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Oakland University.
