Fred Porter has extensive experience in energy services engineering, currently holding the position of Energy Services Design Engineering Manager at the City of Monroe, NC since August 2015. Prior to this role, Fred served as Energy Services Engineering Manager at the City of Monroe from March 2002 to August 2015. Fred's career in engineering began at Lynches River Electric Cooperative, where Fred was the Manager of Engineering from April 1992 to February 2002. Fred Porter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology with a focus on Electrical from Clemson University, completing the program in 1987.
