Jennifer Geiselhart has over 15 years of work experience with the City of Minneapolis. Jennifer started in 2006 as a Police Support Technician and worked in that role until 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a 911 Dispatcher. Jennifer then became a 911 Supervisor in 2015 and served in that role until 2021. Currently, they work as the 911 Operations Manager. Before their time with the City of Minneapolis, Jennifer also worked as a Facilities Supervisor for the City of Richfield from 2000 to 2005.
Jennifer Geiselhart earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminology from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications. Jennifer became a Certified Training Officer through APCO International in July 2013. In April 2010, they obtained the CJIS certification from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Jennifer also acquired the Incident Command Structure certification from FEMA in April 2010. Most recently, Jennifer obtained the All-Hazards Incident Tactical Dispatcher certification from FEMA in September 2017. The obtained month and year for the NIMS ICS All-Hazards Communications Unit Leader certification are not provided.
