Taylor Novak, MBA, SHRM-CP, currently serves as Chief of Staff and Talent Acquisition Manager for the City of Midland, Texas, where responsibilities include recruitment and hiring management. Previous experience includes serving as Blackstone Launchpad Program Coordinator at UT Permian Basin, where Taylor initiated a program to support college-level entrepreneurs, and as Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Student Support at the University of the Southwest, overseeing the student lifecycle from application to graduation. Additional roles include Admission/Recruitment Specialist at New Mexico Junior College, Pre-planning/Aftercare Specialist with Legacy Funeral Group, and sales positions with The Hershey Company, Action Wholesale Liquor/Eagle Brand Beers, and Chesapeake Energy. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Oklahoma State University and an MBA in Public Administration from the University of the Southwest.
