Dennis Egert CPA, CA, ICD.D serves as the Managing Director of Corporate Services and CFO for the City of Medicine Hat since August 2014. In this role, Dennis oversees financial leadership and stewardship for a municipality with approximately 63,000 residents and significant assets and revenues. Previous positions include Chief Financial Officer at The Monarch Corporation and Financial Controller for the Canadian Region at The Dow Chemical Company. With extensive experience in finance and corporate services, Dennis has managed diverse teams and contributed to strategic initiatives across various sectors. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and a Chartered Accountant designation from CPA Canada. Dennis also completed the ICD-Rotman Director Education Program at the University of Toronto.
