Karen Rea has served as Ward 4 Councillor for the City of Markham since December 2014, focusing on planning issues and by-law implementation to enhance community living. Karen has also been a Real Estate Agent with Royal LePage Exceptional Real Estate Services since February 2007, assisting clients in buying, selling, and renting properties. Prior experience includes serving as a collector and legal coordinator at AllianceOne from January 2001 to June 2009, where Karen managed the collection of Canada Student Loans and handled claims and small claims court actions related to unpaid debts. Karen completed Grade 12 education at Markham District High School between 1978 and 1980 and holds certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
