Amanda Linehan has been a Councillor at the City of Malden since 2008. Amanda previously worked as an editor for GateHouse Media and a reporter for East Bay Newspapers. Amanda has a passion for urban planning and community development. Amanda has worked extensively with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, a regional planning agency serving the Greater Boston area. Amanda is a strong advocate for smart growth and transit-oriented development. Amanda believes that cities should be vibrant, livable places for all residents.
Amanda Linehan received a BA in Journalism and Jazz Studies from The George Washington University. Amanda also attended the Interaction Institute for Social Change and Grub Street.
