Jessica Price is a sustainability and resilience manager for the City of Madison, WI, since August 2021, following five years as the Program Director and New York Renewable Energy Strategy Lead at The Nature Conservancy. In this role, Jessica has focused on clean energy solutions, community resilience to climate change, and nature-based approaches. Jessica's academic background includes a PhD in Landscape Ecology and a Master's in Conservation Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where extensive research and teaching experience were gained, including as a graduate research assistant and teaching assistant. Early career experiences include positions at various organizations such as The University of Chicago and the Chicago Botanic Garden, emphasizing research, editorial management, and public relations in conservation.
