Tai Tseng currently serves as the Assistant General Manager of Operations for the City of Long Beach, a position held since February 2003. In this role, Tai oversees an Operations Group that includes two Bureaus and six Divisions, which focus on Water Treatment, Water Quality, Water Construction, Water Services, Sewer Operations, and Support Services. Prior to this, Tai worked as a Senior Engineer at McGuire Environmental Consultants from 2000 to 2003, where responsibilities included conducting regulatory compliance audits and designing processes to comply with emerging regulations. Tai Tseng earned a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, completing the latter in 1995 and the former in 1997.
