Jess Ireland, PMP, CISSP, serves as the Manager of Health and Homelessness Strategic Initiatives for the City of London, Canada, since March 2020, overseeing homelessness response efforts. Previously, Jess held various leadership roles in information security, including interim Senior Manager for Information Security and Network, and Manager of Information Security, where success included navigating the transition to remote work during the pandemic. With an extensive background at Info-Tech Research Group spanning nearly a decade, Jess progressed from Research/Consulting Analyst to Director and Research Lead, shaping security, risk, and compliance practices. Jess's career began in journalism, with roles as a freelance writer, reporter, and editor, complemented by a Master's degree in Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Western University.
