Mindy Haas currently serves on the Kentucky Antisemitism Task Force at the Governor's Office since January 2024 and holds the position of Human Rights Commissioner for the City of Lexington since April 2021. Previously, Mindy was the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass from October 2020 to January 2024 and the Director of Operations at the Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary from February 2018 to June 2020, where significant advancements in fundraising strategies and donor engagement occurred. Mindy also served as a Senior Development Manager for March of Dimes, as well as held volunteer roles such as Board Member for KidSafe Foundation and State President of the Florida Parent Teachers Association. Early career experiences include owning and operating a hospitality staffing company for 20 years. Mindy earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Home Economics, Child Development, and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta.
