Teaka Broughm is an experienced planning and economic development professional currently serving as the Director of Planning and Economic Development for the City of Leduc, where leadership is provided to a team focused on city growth and development. Prior to this role, Broughm held positions at the City of Beaumont, including Manager of Current Planning and Senior Planner for Regional & Economic Relationships, overseeing strategic initiatives and policy implementation in one of Canada's fastest-growing municipalities. Broughm’s earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Planner for Annexation at the City of St. Albert, and as a Community Planner with Municipal Planning Services, contributing to various municipal planning projects and long-term strategies. Broughm holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Community Design from Dalhousie University.
