Gene Peskens is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Leduc since June 2021. Prior to this role, Gene held the position of Director of Finance for Community Services at the City of Edmonton from January 2012 to June 2021, and served as Director of Finance at the City of St. Albert from April 2010 to January 2012. Gene also worked as Chief Financial Officer at the City of Leduc from March 2003 to April 2010 and gained valuable experience at gemeente Heythuysen from 1992 to 2001. Gene holds a designation from CMA Canada.
