Kristina Veneciano possesses extensive experience in community services and recreation, currently serving as a Recreation Specialist and Acting Recreation Coordinator for the City of Costa Mesa since January 2023. Previously, Kristina worked as a Community Services Specialist for the City of Lakewood from March 2018, and held the position of Recreation Specialist VII - Senior Lifeguard for the City of Long Beach from September 2019 to July 2021. Kristina has also gained valuable skills as a Lifeguard at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the City of Los Alamitos, where roles included Aquatics Coordinator and Lifeguard/Swim Instructor. Early career experiences include a Film Development Intern at Le Vision Pictures, Ltd., a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at the Santa Barbara Family YMCA, and a Communications Intern for Congresswoman Lois Capps. Kristina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA.
