Jennifer Engels currently serves as the Manager of Digital Transformation & Strategy at the City of Kitchener, a position held since October 2021, after a successful tenure at Manulife from January 2012 to October 2021 where roles included Manager of Engineering and IT Project Manager, focusing on regulatory projects within Individual Insurance. Prior to this, Jennifer gained experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where a strong academic foundation was built, culminating in a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering and a Master of Applied Science in Management Sciences with a specialization in Project Management. Jennifer combines technical expertise with project management skills to implement significant system changes and process improvements in financial software.
