Berry Vrbanovic is an accomplished municipal leader with extensive experience in public service and governance. Serving as the Mayor of Kitchener since December 2014, Berry has held various roles within the City of Kitchener since 1994, including Chair of key committees focused on planning and finance. In addition to local leadership, Berry is a Co-President and Treasurer of United Cities and Local Governments, demonstrating a commitment to international municipal collaboration. Berry previously led the Federation of Canadian Municipalities in multiple executive roles, including Past-President. Berry's educational background includes a BA in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University and additional qualifications from McGill University and The Banff Centre.
