Kgamanyane Stanley Maphologela is the Director of Communications and Stakeholder Management at the City of Johannesburg, a position held since July 2013, where responsibilities include serving as spokesperson for Group Finance media issues, acting as publicist for various Group Finance projects, and managing the Communication and Marketing budget while ensuring a positive customer experience. Prior to this role, Kgamanyane served as a Financial Journalist at Business Day from January 1998 to January 2002, focusing on the Transport and Motoring sectors and providing coverage of economic and market issues. Kgamanyane holds a Bcomm Hons degree in Economics, Commerce, Communications and Marketing, and Labour Relations from the University of Western Cape, complemented by studies at Wits Business School and the South African Institute of Bankers between 1994 and 2003.
