Dumisani Sibiya is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in public sector financial management. Currently serving as Acting Director Finance and Head of Financial Management at the City of Johannesburg since May 2016, Dumisani leads a team focused on strategy implementation and procurement within the Environment and Infrastructure Services Department. Previously, Dumisani held the position of Deputy Director of Financial Management at Reavaya BRT, contributing to various committees and acting as Finance Director when necessary. Dumisani's earlier roles include Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting at Government Printing Works, where involvement in ERP system implementation was key, and Assistant Accountant at Discovery Limited, where process improvements were introduced. Educational credentials include an MBA from Wits Business School, an Executive Management Program from the University of La Verne, and a BCOMPT Accounting Degree from the University of South Africa.
