Dr. Hennie Labuschagne currently serves as a researcher for the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality since August 2024. Previously, Dr. Labuschagne held various leadership positions at the City of Johannesburg from 2001 onwards, including Group Head of Strategic Management Services, Director of Management Services, and Regional Manager of Corporate Support, focusing on strategy, performance management, and institutional development. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Strategic Support at Southern Metropolitan Local Council and Chief Workstudy Officer at Sandton Town Council. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Entrepreneurship from the University of Pretoria, an MBA with Distinction from Business School Netherlands, and a B Admin from the University of South Africa.
