Wade Sanner, AICP has a diverse range of work experience in the field of urban planning. Wade currently holds the position of Community Development Services Director at the City of Idaho Falls, where they oversee various aspects of community development. Prior to this, Wade served as the Community Development Director at the City of Sheridan, where they managed the planning department and was responsible for making executive-level policy decisions and code interpretations. Wade also mentored employees and prepared annual department budgets. Before their role in Sheridan, Wade worked as a Planner at Sandy City, where they reviewed and analyzed development applications and assisted in the General Plan process. Wade also worked as a Planner 1 at the City of Wheat Ridge, where they processed variance requests, rezoning requests, and building permits. Wade began their career as a Planning Intern at the City of Lee's Summit, where they gained experience in economic and demographic profiling, land use research, and city code development.
