Jeremy Harris is an experienced analytics engineering professional with a robust background in business intelligence, data architecture, and data governance. Currently serving as Manager of Analytics Engineering at City of Hope since November 2015, Jeremy introduced dbt core and established a collaborative community for data professionals. Previously as Lead Business Intelligence Architect, key achievements included a 90% reduction in ETL production time through Apache Airflow, implementation of Apache Atlas for data cataloging, and development of enterprise-level Tableau dashboards for informed decision-making. Earlier roles at Pomona College and Azusa Pacific University involved architecting data solutions and leading migrations to Tableau, while initial experience as a Data Analyst at Bridgepoint Education laid a foundation in data querying and reporting. Jeremy holds a BA in Computer Information Systems from Point Loma Nazarene University.
