Ivy Derecho has over two decades of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Senior Manager for GMP Pricing & Project Management Operations at City of Hope since July 2000. In this role, Ivy is responsible for pricing, budget development, and project management for various GMP production projects, facilitating interactions among clients and multiple internal departments. Previously, Ivy held positions such as GMP Cellular & Biologics Process Development & Manufacturing Lead and Lead QC Chemist at Alpha Therapeutics, directing teams and ensuring compliance in manufacturing operations. Ivy's early career included roles as a Molecular Biologist and Chemist, contributing to DNA testing and contract laboratory reporting. Ivy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Science in Chemistry from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
