Joseph Firmiss is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in managing information systems and technology services. Currently serving as the Technology Services Manager for the City of Holland since February 2019, Joseph previously held the position of Information Systems Technician at Allegan County from April 2013 to July 2019, and worked in Technical Services at the Saugatuck Douglas District Library from March 2007 to January 2013. Joseph's expertise includes supervising workshops and training sessions to assess community needs, along with a strong capability in understanding service objectives and capturing business requirements through effective communication techniques. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University and an Associate of Arts degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Lake Michigan College.
