Amanda Wong is a Stormwater Management Technologist with the City of Hamilton since 2019, responsible for the operations and maintenance of city-owned storm ponds and drainage infrastructure. Prior experience includes serving as a Water Resources Specialist at Shared Value Solutions Ltd. (2017-2019), supporting Indigenous communities in reviewing development projects and conducting technical reviews of water-related issues. At Halton Region (2013-2016), Amanda worked as a Planner focusing on groundwater and hydrology, designing water quality monitoring programs and managing contaminated sites. Prior roles at the Grand River Conservation Authority involved extensive water quantity analysis, drought contingency planning, and coordinating environmental flow projects. Amanda holds multiple degrees from the University of Guelph, including a Master of Engineering in Water Resources Engineering, a Master of Science in Geography, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.
