Justin Scharton currently serves as the Natural Areas & Trails Division Manager for the City of Greeley, a position held since February 2019, overseeing strategic planning, budget management, and community engagement within the division. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Environmental Planner and Nature in the City Program Manager for the City of Fort Collins, where responsibilities encompassed land management for various natural areas. Scharton also worked as a Land Officer for Pitkin County, managing conservation easement stewardship, and held positions in Larimer County and the National Park Service focusing on conservation and resource management. Both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Natural Resource Management and Natural Resources Stewardship were obtained from Colorado State University.
