Mike Jensen currently serves as the Senior Advisor to the General Manager of Growth and Infrastructure for the City of Greater Sudbury, focusing on health and safety management system implementation and internal leadership program development. Additionally, Mike holds a part-time professor position at Cambrian College, teaching a Water Remediation course in the Environmental Monitoring and Impact Assessment program. Previously, Mike held multiple leadership roles within the City of Greater Sudbury, including Director of Water/Wastewater and Compliance, where collaboration with various stakeholders ensured efficient resource utilization for citizen benefit. Mike also owned and instructed at Niche Environmental Training, providing entry-level training in water and wastewater careers. Earlier in Mike's career, service in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Marine Engineer involved overseeing the operation of marine engineering systems on Canadian Patrol Frigates. Mike's educational background includes training in Marine Engineering from the Royal Canadian Navy Engineering School.
