Jade Nyland has extensive experience in event management and communications, currently serving as the Assistant General Manager and Event Manager at the City of Grande Prairie since September 2020, where responsibilities include developing and managing a variety of events. Previous roles at the City of Grande Prairie from 2018 to 2020 involved working as an Events & Marketing Specialist, focusing on marketing initiatives and event logistics. Jade Nyland also worked as a Communications Officer for the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation, managing communications and brand development. Earlier in the career, positions included Special Project Assistant and Administrative Assistant at Encana Corporation. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern Polytechnic, along with ongoing studies in Digital Marketing at NAIT.
