Mona Lisa Galicia has over 20 years of experience in the legal and municipal sectors. Currently serving as City Secretary for the City of Grand Prairie since September 2003, Mona Lisa holds certification as a Municipal Clerk and previously worked as Deputy City Secretary. Earlier roles include serving as a Paralegal/Risk Manager, where responsibilities encompassed litigation support, legal research, case management, and claims management. Prior to joining the City of Grand Prairie, Mona Lisa worked as a Trial Paralegal at Smith & Moore, L.L.P., specializing in aviation and general litigation, and as a Case Clerk at Strasburger & Price, LLP. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice and Biology from the University of North Texas and The University of Texas at Arlington, along with a Liberal Arts & Science degree from Dallas College.
