Jonah Peters is a seasoned Firefighter Paramedic currently serving with the City of Fremont since February 2022. In addition to this role, Jonah is an Adjunct Faculty member at the College of San Mateo's Fire Academy, instructing in a state-certified training program, and holds multiple certifications as a State Fire Training Instructor. Prior experience includes Firefighter Paramedic positions with the City of Palo Alto, where responsibilities included mentorship and community engagement, as well as a role as Union Secretary for Local 1319. Jonah's background in emergency medical services also includes positions with American Medical Response as a Paramedic and EMT, as well as volunteer firefighter experience with the Cordelia Fire Protection District. Jonah's earlier career encompassed business development and marketing roles in the private sector, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington and an Associate of Science in Fire Technology from the College of San Mateo.
