Marshall Wight is an experienced economic development professional currently serving as the Economic Development Officer for the City of Fort Saskatchewan since July 2022. Prior to this role, Marshall worked as an Accountant at Western Star Trucks (North) Ltd from June 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included preparing financial statements and assisting with month-end closings. Marshall also held the position of General Accountant with the City of Fort Saskatchewan from May 2015 to September 2017, overseeing budget planning and financial reporting. Earlier experience includes working as a Finance Intern, as well as positions as an Order Builder at RONA and a Sales Associate at Golf Town. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business from MacEwan University, completed in 2015.
