City Of Evanston: Reparations Intern at City of Evanston

Damilola Olabanji is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Policy Clerk at the National Center for Youth Law since June 2023 and as a Reparations Intern with the City of Evanston since February 2023. Damilola is involved in researching the impact of the reparations ordinance on public opinion and undertaking a multi-year study of the program. At Northwestern University, Damilola has served as a Resident Assistant since August 2022, overseeing community engagement programs and providing mentorship to over 80 residents. Previous experience includes roles as a Front Desk Attendant with Northwestern Career Advancement, a Legal Intern at De Armas and De Armas Law, and a Caller at the Northwestern University Office of Alumni Relations and Development. Damilola began a professional career at KFC as a Crew Member. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Policy and Legal Studies at Northwestern University, Damilola is expected to graduate in 2025.
