Matt Rodrigues has extensive experience in public works and civil engineering, currently serving as Assistant City Manager for the City of Eugene since 2004, where prior roles included Public Works Director and City Engineer. Rodrigues has actively participated in the American Public Works Association (APWA) as a Center for Sustainability Leadership Committee Member from 2015 to 2023 and previously served as Sustainability Committee Chair for the Oregon Chapter from 2012 to 2015. Earlier professional experience includes roles at Tehama County Public Works as Civil Engineer III and Neohapsis Inc. as Consultant/Principal. Matt Rodrigues obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University between 1991 and 1995.
