Miroo Desai currently serves as Planning Manager for the City of Emeryville, a position held since September 2004, with previous roles as Principal Planner and Senior Planner. Prior experience includes working as Planner III for both the City of Oakland from May 2003 to August 2004 and the County of San Mateo from September 1999 to May 2003. Miroo Desai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University and two Master’s degrees—one in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University and another in Urban Planning from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Additional education includes studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
