Daina DeNye is an experienced purchasing professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Purchasing Officer for the City of Elgin since March 2005, Daina has previously held the position of Purchasing Manager at McDonald's Corporation from 1998 to 2001, where responsibilities included developing sourcing strategies and creating Requests for Proposals. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Purchasing Agent at Motorola from 1988 to 1998, focusing on supervising and training buyers and resolving inventory management issues. Daina DeNye holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Bachelor of Arts in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
