Dr. Julia Ruedas, MPA, Ed.D., is currently serving as a Councilwoman for the City of El Monte and has extensive experience in the individual and family services industry. They are the Owner of JULIA- Children's Services and have held various instructional roles, including at UC Davis and WestEd. Previously, Dr. Ruedas served as the Governing Board President for the El Monte City School District and was a Brand Partner at Melissa & Doug, LLC. They also contribute to the LAC+USC Medical Center Foundation as a Senior Program Manager and Policy Analyst and serve on the Board of Directors for SPIRITT Family Services. Dr. Ruedas graduated from the University of La Verne and continues to demonstrate strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
