Matthew Gabb, MURP, serves as a Sustainability Specialist for the City of Edina, where responsibility includes communications, funding, and project management to implement Edina's Climate Action Plan. Prior to this role, Matthew was a Program & Research Coordinator at the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota, coordinating faculty hiring and facilitating research team meetings. Experience also includes being a Project Lead and Principal Investigator for the Olmsted County 2021 Food Security Assessment and a Research Assistant for the Public Health Law Center. Matthew has contributed to community engagement and education through roles with CAC Beardsley Community Farm and the Knoxville - Knox County Community Action Committee, and has experience in project management with Epic. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Maryland.
