Jim Connolly is a seasoned IT professional currently serving as the Director of Information Technology for the City of Dublin, Ohio, since August 2024, overseeing day-to-day IT department operations with a focus on system uptime, cybersecurity, and technology implementation. Prior to this role, Connolly led the IT department for the Columbus Blue Jackets from April 2000 to August 2024, where a technical vision was developed to support business objectives, including arena operations and cybersecurity projects. Additional experience includes serving as an advisor and judge for Stadia Ventures from June 2016 to June 2023, focusing on sports and esports innovation, and earlier roles at Resource One Computer Systems and the Auditor of State of Ohio in network engineering and administration. Connolly holds a Master of Business Administration from Franklin University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ohio University.
