Linda M. Bruton is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in public and private sector law. Currently serving as Senior Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Detroit since July 2018, Bruton specializes in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation for various city departments. Prior to this role, Bruton owned LINDA BRUTON LAW, PLLC, providing transactional legal services to a diverse clientele, including government agencies and non-profits. Professional history includes serving as an attorney for the Wayne County Airport Authority, Lewis & Munday, and the City of Detroit, where Bruton contributed to municipal finance, real estate development, and charter school law.
