John Naglick, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Deputy CFO and Finance Director for the City of Detroit, overseeing various financial functions including public finance and budgeting since October 2013. In addition to this role, John holds a position as an Adjunct Professor at Walsh College, teaching accounting courses since May 2010, and previously taught at the University of Detroit Mercy. Prior experience includes serving as Finance Director and Treasurer for the City of Pontiac MI, Director at AlixPartners focusing on financial advisory services, CFO for Soave Enterprises, EVP of Finance and Operations at Chemed Corporation, Corporate Board Member and CFO at Omnicare, and Audit Manager at PwC. John earned a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from the University of Detroit Mercy.
