Amy Amador serves as the Deputy Director of Bridging Neighborhoods for the City of Detroit, a position held since December 2017, focusing on enhancing community benefits related to housing and public health. Prior experience includes consulting for nonprofit organizations in the Metro Detroit area, where services centered on fund and board development, and acting as Interim Executive Director for Reading Works Detroit to support adult literacy initiatives during a leadership transition. Previously, Amy held the role of Executive Director at Mercy Education Project for a decade, leading the organization to significant recognition and expanding its capacity for addressing literacy and workforce preparedness.
