Glenn Ayars is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in arts management and community engagement. Currently serving as the Assistant Director for Programming and Engagement at the City of Dallas' Office of Arts and Culture since August 2017, Glenn manages cultural funding programs and promotes equitable access to the arts for residents. Previous roles include Manager of Outreach and Communications for the Department of Sanitation Services, Cultural Programs Manager, and Contract Compliance Administrator, showcasing a strong background in program development and communication strategies. Additionally, Glenn has experience in music education and administration through positions at Ayars Voice LLC, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and various roles within Southern Methodist University. Glenn holds a Master’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Southern Methodist University.
