Derrick Age is a seasoned information technology professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT management. Currently serving as CISO for the City of Dallas IT since August 2020, Derrick Age established and led a Security Operations Center (SOC), developed standard operating procedures, and integrated security monitoring tools. Since November 2021, Derrick Age has also been the owner of Warnosecurity. Previous roles include Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer at CHRISTUS Health, where various technologies such as Active Directory and ProofPoint were utilized, and Operations/I.T. Director at SourceCheck. Derrick Age has a comprehensive background in security audits and infrastructure management, aided by a Master's Degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. Military service as a Sergeant in the US Army further complements Derrick Age's professional credentials.
